About our Township

Liberty Township elected officials fill their roles on a part time basis; however, their intimate knowledge of their community, its needs and its residents enables them to offer a more personal service to the community than any other form of government. The Township is required by the ORC to provide emergency fire protection, maintain roadways, care for the cemeteries, along with other responsibilities prescribed by law. While not required, Liberty Township is also providing emergency medical services for the good of their community.
